Hippy

A man is walking down the beach and there are hundreds of starfish stranded on the beach, trying to get back to the water to stay alive. As the man walks a bit further he sees a child picking up starfish one at a time and throwing them to safety, back in the sea.

The man asks the child, "why are you wasting your time? It doesn't matter how long you spend, you can't save them all".

The child smiles back. He picks up another starfish, throws it to the sea and says "it mattered to that one".

I like the moral/point behind this story, hopefully if more people read it, the more the point spreads.
